My new A6 C7 Integrated intake installed!

Nice intake very well build, direct fit and easy to install. I’ve waiting a long time before pulling the trigger on this. All can i say is : Whine is incredible! I had pretty good result with old intake oem box modified, K&N dropped-in and the RKX hose. My log showed better flow than CTS intake with my redneck intake. Now im waiting for my new gate oem spec belt and i’ll log after to see how my flow is vs old intake. 2EACEBB7-5D6C-40CA-B9C3-141FFCA6D1AA.jpg

Installed the IE cai a year ago. Still going strong.

Air intake temps same as ambient air. So no issue with it sucking in "hot engine air"

You should install the cover for DD in summer for exemple if you are DP. From my experience this intake flow better under high load than the OEM box, more flow mean more PSI. For your IAT, What type of cooling mod’s Youre running ? I personnaly got a delta of 7-8 Celcius between ambiant and iat as my P3 gauge show me.

Sorry what cover are you talking about?
I'm single pulley e85 tuned with IE.

I am totally stock on cooling mods.

And when I say same air temps, I'm talking about sitting there at idle on a 100 degree day, the intake CACT temp is close to 100 the same as the Air temp. Give or take a degree.
This is via live info from OBD11 scanner via the torque app.

Carbon cover for the IE intake!

You are right, the hood sit well on the intake so like you said, no heat soak.

Personnaly i use the fan control with IE in traffic, the intercoller pump work at 99% when activated. Work very well for me.

But I guess you have an improved heat exchanger, right? Once you go on IE Stage 2 modifying any of the pulleys, you already need a better heat exchanger. The "stock" one is way too small to properly handle the extra mods.

You’re right, i would love to see one of his log to Check the iat if he dont have a HX. In reality even on stage 1 a proper cooling is required, so you will be able to extract each little HP and targeting the max timing on hot day by cooling down the iat from my experience.

Yes a lot of money for bling bling and nothing else in my opinion. Not my type of modification.

Definitely and that's why I didn't bought it as well. I don't think paying almost the same I paid for the intake, just for a lid. No way.
