Do A4 Sedan and A4 allroad (both B8.5) use the same floor liners?

    Hello,

I would like to purchase WeatherTech floor liners for my 2016 allroad. The thing is WT does not make them for a 2016 allroad, but they sure do for the 2016 A4 sedan.

I figured that the floorpans on these 2 variants of the A4 would be the same, but I called a local dealer and the parts guy told me that the front mats have different part numbers, but the rear mats have the same part number.

Does anybody know if the mats pointed to below will fit an allroad?

    Thanks,
    Alex

I can't imagine an all road and a sedan being the same. They are completely different vehicles

They are the same….Allroads are essentially A4/S4 just in lifted Avant versions, interior the same for the first two rows, some subtle LATCH nuances.

I would not recommend getting the rear mats they are very flimsy I would suggest going with OE for those.

B8.5 sedan, avant, allroad, coupe, sportback, and cabriolet all use the same front mats, in three variations:
    8K1 863 691 F - LHD RoW
    8K1 863 691 G - LHD NAR
    8K2 863 691 C - RHD

The B8.5 rear standard mats come in two variations, depending on 2-door or 4-door wheelbase:
    8K0 864 450 B - sedan, avant, allroad, sportback
    8T0 864 450 A - coupe, cabriolet

I'm not convinced that they are completely different vehicles - I believe they share a platform and many drivetrain components.

Good to know. Despite being flimsy, would they do a better job of keeping snow and crap off the carpets better than the factory winter/rubber mats?

So it appears that the WT mats for the 2016 A4 sedan should fit my 2016 A4 allroad no problem. Thanks for that. By chance, Smac770, are you an engineer? Haha.

No, mostly because they won’t stay in place. Really an embarrassment for weathertech.

The B8 products, type 8K (A4 sedan/wagon), type 8T (A5 coupe/sportback), type 8F (A5 cabriolet), and type 8R (Q5 crossover) are all essentially the same product, with adaptations specific to the body type. The two-doors have a 2.3" shorter wheelbase than the four-doors. The Q5 has the most deviation, such as using C7 axles (due to the 2" wider track) instead of "B8" axles, etc. The wider track on the A5 and A4 allroad is due solely to the lower wheel offset.

I knew it, Smac770 - you’re an engineer. Same here (electrical).

Anyhow, the mats came in today and they fit the allroad perfectly. I only ordered the front ones based on a recommendation from JLAllroad. The factory rear rubber mats are actually quite good, great coverage and they don’t move.

    Thanks, all!

    Until next time.
