Cool but 1. Probably won't be available in North America 2. Are lifted straight from the Cupra Formentor (not a bad thing, just worth noting these aren't bespoke to the RS4/5 Competition package).

It's nice to see the RS cars getting some interior design differentiation. Do you know if they're still heated and have the massage functionality?

No massage, no power (or memory obviously).

No massage I can live without, but no power or memory function when the BMW M3/4 and Mercedes C63 both have it on their top end seats? Yikes.

Aren't the BMW carbon buckets like $7k or something like that. I'd want to see the price of these before opening.

The BMW carbon buckets are $4,000-4,500 depending on market, but they have full power and memory. I'll bet the Audi ones are just as expensive and you have to get the Competition package to even order them (not to mention they probably won't even be available in North America).

Plus they're not carbon fiber (that doesn't matter to me) and, as you already pointed out, they're already existing seats so it's not like Audi can claim they spent money custom designing these seats for the RS5.

If they are exactly the same as the Cupra CUP seats, they should have a dry carbon fibre shell. So that's at least positive. I just wouldn't want to go to a manual and no memory seat...no way. Especially considering the regular RS5 sport seats are already very nice bucket seats...but have power, memory, massage, nappa leather. I will admit that these Competition seats do look nice and I'm sure they hold you in more for spirited or track driving.

Wait!!! The M carbon bucket seats don't have carbon fiber? I've seen pics where the rear of the seats appear to have carbon fiber.

No, they're carbon fiber. I was talking about the Audi seats.

I sat in the M3 carbon buckets. I am 6' 2" and a moderately fit 200lbs, the seat bottoms are so tight it squeezed my legs together. I'm a track guy and there is no way I would want them in my street car. Hope Audi does these right.
