A4 roof rack comparable with s4?

Might be a dumb question but a b9 a4 roof rack should be comparable with s4, right!?

Just recently sold my b8 but kept the rhino rack roof rack and upon searching for new clamps, there was no option for s4 - but clips are available for the a4.

Don't see why they wouldn't be, B9 A4 & S4 have identical roof / rails. Unsure about sedan vs avant differences

A4 and S4 are the same chassis, just different engines and suspension, etc.

The sedan, the avant, and the allroad all use different mounting feet. There's no reason for the cross rails to be different.

Now, should feet for a B8 sedan work on a B9 sedan, no idea. The Audi part for the sedan base carrier set is not the same for a B8 vs a B9. Thule though uses the same Clamp Evo for B8 and B9 sedan.

Yup I’m comparing b9 a4 sedan to b9 s4. I was confident that all body parts are the same - I’m just confused why they said the s4 wasn’t compatible
