As it seems all those waiting on 2022s have received their cars, and the 2023s are starting to hit the lots, I thought I'd kick off a new thread for those of us with 23s on order.

Mines a '23 Sportback in Ascari Blue, Crescendo red stitching, Black Optic, Black rings, Dynamic Package, Driver Assist, Navigation, Side Assist, Rear airbags.

2023 RS 5 SB, Sepang Blue (Audi Exclusive), Side Assist, Navigation, RS Drivers Assist, Dynamic, Black Optic Carbon, Black Rings & Badges, Back/Rock-Grey seats. Factory Submitted 8/26.

Mine is also 2244, just guessing at the date. At work our week 44 starts Oct 23rd.

Congrats. You’ll be able to obtain the ship info from your sales associate once it leaves Emden. If you’re so inclined, you’ll be able to track its journey westward. I watched followed mine as it stopped in numerous countries and traveled through the Panama Canal before reaching the San Diego port. Kinda exciting.

Mine got pushed from week 44 to week 48. The other dates were all blank so I just moved them 28 days further out. Expected delivery is now Jan 19 - Jan 31.

My production date is now pushed to Feb 23 with estimated delivery Apr 23.

I test drove a Macan GTS in the meantime. I loved the PDK transmission and the engine sounds nicer in the Porsche but overall the Audi is better value. I am also keeping an eye on the Ioniq 5 N, I like the size and retro styling.

Quick questions -

Do we know the specs (brand/model/size) for the summer tires that come with the black optic rims? Will they be the same profile as the 2021, 2022 models?

Hoping to get exact measurements so I can buy winter tires to replace the summer tires that come with the black optic rims, and then buy new rims to fit the summer tires that will come with my build out in December.

For winter tires, was thinking of buying either Pirelli sottozeros or michelin alpins. I'm in North Jersey, so not too much snow on a daily basis.

Any insight would be mucho appreciated. Thx!

Congrats! What model is your 2023? Somebody else here probably knows more than I but I believe the RS5 wheels size hasn’t changed.

I believe they are 275/30r20 but I cannot say that for certain. Perhaps that info can be obtained by the dealer once it enters production? I was personally curious as to what brand and model tire I'll be getting. If there's more than one option, I'd like to choose.

If you have any more information on your dates I'd like to add them to our spreadsheet.

Wheel and tire specs are the same. 20x9 ET 22 (for Sportback) with 275/30/20 tires. I just did exactly what you are planning. Just had my winter tires mounted on the stock wheels and will get aftermarket next spring for the non-winter set-up. I went with Vredstein Wintrac Pro in stock size. They were a bargain from the Tirerack compared to other brands and the reviews were superb. In the past I have used Michelin and Dunlop for winter. Temps were in the low 30s this morning on my way to work and tires felt great. I am glad I stayed with the stock width. On hard launches, the traction control light does come on more than with the summer tires. That is to be expected at these power levels, but I suspect it would be much worse if I downsized the tire.

Anyone opt for the Competition Package? I wish the US-spec'd RS5s could opt-out of Ceramic Brakes, like our neighbors to the north can. The Competition Package features a C/O suspension and direct ratio steering, and I'm intrigued by the changes in the TCM programming for MY2023.

I also ordered my 2023 RS5 SB in Ascari blue. Order created 8/4/22. Factory submitted 8/19/22. Production week start 10/3/22. I am being told ETA is 12/9 to 12/29. I am in Dallas.

My order started as a Competition Pkg and my sales manager says it comes with the Ceramic Brakes (a recent car review also said that). My beef was the lack of leather seats. Leather is super easy to clean...the fake suede is a little tougher.

It's been so hard to find any others, which is frustrating at the moment because I want to actually see one, but I'm happy in the end if there are fewer of them. I just don't think the 2021 Ascari edition looks that good TBH, but think the Black Optic will look great on it. We'll see. Only one I've found is in Vegas, but the dealership only has stock photos.

I ordered a 2022 RS5 Sportback in Turbo Blue back in Jan 2022 but the order wasn't filled before the 2022's stopped so had to switch to a 2023 in May, I added the competition pack and Audi Exclusive Vegas Yellow since turbo blue got dropped.

Been tough to get information on the dates but it has been accepted by the factory since August. Just recently it was locked to changes - which I think means production in the next few weeks. ETA is Jan 2023.

My ETA is showing March 11 - March 23. I found a 2022 with the exact configuration i ordered at a dealer near me. Is there any benefit waiting for a 23 model year? Better less bouncy suspension maybe? Get further away from Covid disruptions to part shipments?

That sucks. Any idea what's the hold up? SB or Coupe? Canada or US? Do you have a production week? I know mine moved from week 44 to week 48, but it sounds like yours moved several months. Wonder why.

I ordered in April and i'm told i will be receiving my RS5 sportback in December.
