    Klima cleaner issue

Hey guys I hope anyone here could help me out. So I have the notorious stinky ac smell from my car. Changed the cabin filter to charcoal, smell persisted. So I bought some klima cleaner removed the blower motor and sprayed away. I let it sit for 20 min as the bottle says to. I looked under the Carano there wasn't a drop of cleaner on the ground. I decided to run the fan for a few min anyway and still nothing underneath the car.

I'll also note that when I have my AC on thw car does puddle up under the car so I know that the drains aren't clogged. Any ideas what couldve happen here

    Thanks in advaced

Interesting. So I have sort of the opposite problem. I never see regular condensation under the car. Used Klima cleaner and Nucalgon recently. I removed the cabin filter and fished the small hose that comes with the Klima cleaner toward the condenser (the middle of the car).

Did not remove the blower motor because its on the opposite side, and the foam shouldn't really back up to the blower. (you can stuff some paper towels in the cabin filter area) Did you spray the foam toward the condenser? I got a lot of cleaner flowing out of the drains and its was actually brown with the Nucalgon so must have cleaned something. Its been too soon to see if smell is gone because the Nucalgon has a strong lemon scent.

i used a can of lysol 5 years ago on my b7 and issue was gone .. just sprayed it in the cabin air intake , let it run on max fan with air recirc and all windows closed. , then aired out the car and done.
definitely want to ee dripping from under the car in humid weather or the next thing will be carpet soaked..

I believe if I am not mistaken you have to feed the hose up through the ac drain to fill the evaporator core area. I have a can of this I have to use but haven't gotten around to it.

Yeah took the blower motor out and ran it to the left toward the evaporator. The awful smell is 90 percent gone so im content right now and with winter coming in a couple months I'll be okay until next year. From what I've read the drain plugs aren't accessible from underneath the car. That could be my only complaint to audi designers

Lysol sprayed into the cabin air intake will finish the job and you should be good as new. The last two GTI's I had had had this stinky issue and now that we're at the end of summer my Allroad is the same. My game plan is Klima+Lysol+Cabin Filter. it worked perfectly the last two timnes.
