New to me 2017 Q7 Premium 2.0 Possible upgrades

Hi All,

New to the Audi world. Just bought a 2017 Q7 Premium that does not have Apple Carplay. Is it possible to upgrade my current system to have that capability? I was thinking that if my vehicle could use the MMI from a Premium Plus and maybe change the cluster to match, that could solve my problem. Only thinking of this route because Im about 99% sure Audi designed it so that you can't go the after-market route.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yes, it's doable going OEM route but you need a shop or a person that knows how to activate MMI and remove component protection that each system is written to vin of the car so people will not steal it and crate black market for it.
