    I know VW switched to the 0w20 specification for fuel economy around 2019.

    I have a 2015 GTI 2.0 that calls for 0w40
    I have a 2020 GTI 2.o that calls for 0w20

    The GTI community still leans towards 0w40 oil

    Is there any debate on the 3.0 Audi Turbo motor 0w20 vs 0w40?

    No debate that I am aware of but I always use 0W20. I also change my oil every 5000 miles.
