Black emblems

Hello All -

Since my car came with the Black Optics package, I'm finally getting around to replacing the crappy chrome emblems with black ones. I've read that TAG sells painted OEM emblems, and also that non-OEM emblems can be had on Ebay, but has anyone ordered the black OEM emblems from Audi (rear trunk lid rings and S6 front/rear emblems) for the C8 cars and made them fit the C7.5's? Since I presume the emblems are only affixed with double stick tape, I would assume that they will fit but didn't know if the sizing/look was different than the C7.5 emblems.

Also, any other options besides TAG/Ebay for black emblems?

Buy it from Aliexpress, got mine from this vendor. All measurements and models listed clearly for correct size.

C8 wont fit on C7.5/

C8 rear emblems will fit, they are just glued to the car

But front needs to be painted or bought via aliexpress/ebay

Here's what I've found since I originally posted:

1) Audi sells black front and back rings: ZAW-098-010-Q-DSP
2) Audi also sells the rear S6 badge in black: 4K0071804 (it's technically for the C8 cars, but the non-black C8 emblem is the same part # for the C7, so the black badge should work)
3) The front S6 badge for the C8 does not cross-reference to the C7 cars, so I'm not sure if the C8 black badge will fit. Still looking to see if it will work.
4) Audi does not sell black V8T badges; if I decide to keep them, looks like I'll either have to paint OEM badges or look on Ebay.

Appreciate if anyone has any ideas for the front S6 badge.

Front rings for the S6 are 285mm x 99mm.. I installed them on my car two weeks ago without issue. They also have the black V8T badges

jzwecker sells black badges also, a user here on the forum. Just another alternative option for you, and he can do the V8T black as well as everything else.

Be careful with the front grill rings. Just because they are the same dimensions, does NOT mean the mounting tabs are the same pattern. Ask me how I know.....

I did all mine Gloss Black and mirror purple S8. They look amazing. I haven't them installed yet though. Going on this week

Some require you snap off two tabs that aren't needed.. doesn't affect how they fit in the slightest

Yeah, I'm sure you could, but I snapped no tabs and mine fits.

Confirmed that 4K0-071-805 (the black S6 emblem that snaps on to the grille) fits C7.5 (part # is for a C8 but the badge fits perfectly). Therefore, it appears that you can get all front/rear badges (except the V8T badges which you can either delete or buy on Ebay) directly from Audi.
