RS6 - Leasing only?

Trying to order a 2023 right now and the dealer says they are only allowing leasing.
Is this a new thing, or did I just land on a special dealer?

you can buy them. likely this dealer just wants to make the extra money off a lease deal by marking up the money factor and then also having you pay both the lease origination fee and buyout fee (assuming you buy at end)

and if i don't buy they get it back to sell at a ridic. markup.
i bailed and just signed at another dealer who doesn't play those games.
it'll be a long wait.

the lease origination fee goes to Audi, not the dealer. The buyout fee is similarly charged by Audi, not the dealer.

What may be going on is they don't want more people buying it just to flip it.

I'm on a 2 yr list for an RS6 so ya. Much longer than a taycan GTS st but it'll be worth it.
Just got a taycan turbo sport turismo allocation but turned it down.

I posted there since I was hesitating between an incoming Cayenne GTS and waiting for the RS6. Everyone like I can get an RS6 tomorrow lol
