Hi guys.* This is for a 2019 SQ5 Prestige
I've searched this forum, Audiworld, my FB groups and also called my Audi Service department and still can't figure out what is going on with my Apple Car Play.* It was working fine on Sunday, then on my way to drop her off at the Detailers for paint correction and ceramic coat, the Car Play just stopped working and I couldn't get it to reconnect.* When I picked her up on Tuesday evening, same issue.* When I plug it in, the phone makes the "battery charging" chime but Car Play doesn't kick on.* The Audi Smartphone Interface screen pops up that says "to use Apple Car Play, please connect a compatible smartphone using USB port...blah blah blah" then you have the optioni to change to connection manager or cancel.* Clicking on "change to connection manager" was how I was able to get Car Play to pop up.* Now it just takes me to the Connection Manager settings screen that shows primary phone, secondary phone, MMI connect app, BT Player etc.* I've tried resetting my MMI, checking all Car Play settings I can think of on my phone, "forgetting" the phone on the car, reinstalling, forgetting the MMI on the phone and reinstalling, different USB cables, all to no avail.* Anyone have this issue?
