    Key fob not working

    My key fob isn't working, I tested the fob it is working, and I ofc changed battery. I tested everything I could on the antenna and I found an used CCM and still no luck. Then I tried having it programmed, still no luck. He said he couldn't communicate with the car.
    After that I found that the driver side door module had some short causing CAN bus single wire operation. If the door module is even relevant I don't know, but it is fixed.
    What do I do next? Could the door module have been the reason he couldn't communicate with the car so should I try programming again?
    I also tried a lot of what I found on google that they say is for programming key, none worked.

    I would check two things;
    * Door jamb wiring (I think it was more prominent in the B6 gen though)
    * Follow this video from VCDS (if you have it), this is what I reference every time I disconnect battery or something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_DrT8W-_uQ

    I have checked all I know in the doors, the switches in the assembly and all wiring in the doors.
    I don't have VCDS, but shortly my friend moves place where he works and he should be able to try programming key fob.
