so PSA, Neuspeed is releasing an 8Y RS3 wheel in August ... 18x9 ET25 and 18x9 ET45. More pics and info in late July. Just an FYI for folks that want to run a smaller wheel and meaty tires i.e. me :)

I found some 2023 RS3 wheels/tires and wanted to see if they will fit on my 2020 RS3. Here is the specs below:

    Tire: 265/30ZR19 Rim 9Jx19 ET25
    Tire: 245/35/ZR19 Rim 8Jx19 ET46

Feels like the rear is close to the spec on the 2020 but the front offset is what I'm most concerned about.

    2020 Audi RS3 OEM Spec:
    Front: 235/35ZR19 Rim: 8Jx19 ET42
    Rear: 235/35ZR19 Rim: 8Jx19 ET49

Any help would be really appreciated if you have already tried this out before I go and make a bad purchase.

    Thanks,

    Brian

The 8Y has flared front fenders and the wheels are wider/offset to match. I think you could put them on but it would look bad. The wheels would probably be sticking out a couple cms and be uneven with the rear.

Would a wheel spacer help push the wheel out to the edge of the fender or is it the overall look having them on the car without the fenders flared out? Thanks for the quick reply too.

The spacer would do the opposite of what you need for the front. Lower ET means the wheel is sticking out more. So the same wheel from ET42 to ET25 would stick out 18mm more. You would also be moving from an 8 inch width to a 9 inch width, so that may mean you would have another half inch of wheel sticking out on top of that if I understand things correctly.

So no, you can't fix this with a spacer. You would need your fenders to be wider in the front.

Thanks! You literally answered two of my other questions that I had on ET and offset. Appreciate it!!!

Hello, i have a set of rse10 on my stock suspension 2018 rs3. I found a set of new 245/45r18 ps4s online for half of what they cost from a store. Unfortunately, i can't seem to find any evidence of a 245/45 being able to fit these cars. Is the diameter going to be too large? As i see, lots of people are running the 245/40r18. However, that's an entire inch smaller in diameter thant the 245/45.

    Thanks for any input

Yeah you will have problems with speedo reading low and also as you said it is 1nch taller than stock. So most likely will rub even at stock height.

How aggressive of rear fitment is this. What would be needed for 265/35r18? Some camber? These are a dream wheel. Assume around 20mm front spacer?

Yep 255/35 and a little negative camber will clear rear. 15-20mm up front is solid. Shoot me an email I can get you set up 👊

Are 18's an option for CCB? It looks like a tight fit as is on the stock 19's.

Anybody know if Superspeed RF05RR 18x9.0, ET42, 57.1 will fit the 8V? The specs look perfect but I don't know about caliper clearance. Emailed the company and a vendor that sells them, nobody replies.

Oh man this is a good one!

Perfect front and rear offsets with square widths and even concavity: FACE 4 !

This is the only TE37 I’ve found with this much concavity that clears the brakes and is also not too aggressive for the car needing camber or suspension mods. Bolt on and go!

Clears RS3 8Y steel brakes. Unfortunately they are 114.3 but no big deal as we can drill em for ya.

Fitment is confirmed and hoping to know stock status next week.

    18x9.5 +22 front FACE 4

    18x9.5 +45 rear FACE 4

    Pressed Graphite finish

Can anyone confirm this setup works for 100% stock suspension without rubbing?

It’s really difficult to get rub at stock height on any spec.. You really have to do way improper rim and/or tire sizing for that to happen. That said, this spec will not rub stock height or lowered up to an inch with 265/35. Even lower on 255s.

I’d love to see this setup done so Lmk if interested!

Those te37s are sick. What is the process to redrill and how is the strength after? Is that the only color in this spec?

It’s a slight shave 1-2mm of the bolt bores to bring the PCD to 112 from 114.3. Strength is not effected. You’d never even know it was done if not looking for it. See below of a different rays I drilled. Before and after.

I believe they come a few colors.

There is a shop in the sf bay, system motorsports, who said they can get BBs Japan wheels made to custom specs if there are enough orders. Wondering if there is interest in BBs ri-a in 18x9.5 et22 front et45 rear 5x112 and if possible custom 57.1 pcd? I can check to see how many they would need to be able to get this done and if it has to be done for a single color or if option for any color. If single color I say we vote and go with highest vote and anyone who wants different color could get them refinished. I would be open to 19” as well to allow ceramic brake cars to get in in this.

FS3 F1R perfect fitment with no spacers
Just need conical style bolts and hub centric rings.

Has anyone tried to fit a Desmond Regamaster EVO II 18X8.5 5X112 +45 over the front brakes?

Weights: 17.5 lbs or 7.937 kg per wheel
    Lip Size: 48.1mm
    Pad Area is 29mm Deep

Designed to fit Golf R/S3 and I'd assume at minimum a 20mm spacer up front.

Wanted to revisit this with some of you guys running 18's and dealing with brake line clearance - I recently test fitted my previous 8V winter wheel (18x8.5 RSe10's) over the front brakes, and while they do clear the caliper no problem, I was quite alarmed at how close this line comes to the inner barrel. This pic is from the stock 19's btw, so you can imagine an inch smaller. I have the wheel weights on all my wheels on the back barrel, and they are practically touching the brake line. Moving the weights to the front would not be ideal either as that would significantly shrink the caliper clearance. Now granted I have not added a spacer yet to see final fitment, which I would run a 20mm up front for proper offset - but I'm quite concerned in a winter environment with packed snow/ice/rocks, that it could damage the brake line with this design on an 18" wheel. Thoughts or real-world usage of 18's on the 8Y with wheel weight placement or winter experience here? Thanks.

Very nice! Can we see the weights? Also, any plans for brighter colors like silver?

Might be a stupid question, but has anyone had any issues with fitting 4 wheels with or without tires in the trunk/cabin of the 8Y? I'm planning on picking up a second set of wheels for winter tires and just planning ahead

I have the stock set of wheels as well as a set of 4 18"x9"s. All four OEM wheels+tires fit standing in the back seat (folded down). The extra 2 inches from the square 9s means that one will not fit and needs to go in the trunk.

Maybe I missed it but has anyone weighed the OEM 19" wheels from the 8Y RS3?

Anyone running 265 square? Which profile / rim (19 or 20)?

Planning on running them with stock suspension for the time being, maybe at a later stage I’ll swap my suspension.

Was thinking of HRE FF10, I welcome similar designs.
