Use the man or go to the dealership. I posted a thread on why the correct filter design is needed. The stepped design on many aftermarket filters do not put sufficient pressure on the anti drainback spring. The needs to be flat on the ends and 155mm length. Audi even has a tsb on this cause it is an issue with many aftermarket filters.

How cheap do you want it to be? The Mann at my local parts store is about $10.

I use Mann. Its commonly available here. However, Wix is excellent quality. I've used its oil filters for decades on other applications. I'd buy one and compare to OEM. If its flat on tbe end and 155mm long, I'd not hesitate to use it if I could not get Mann at a decent price. As stated, it should not be much higher than Wix. Don't cheap out to save a few pennies.

BTW I order 4 packs of Mann through Amazon Prime with free delivery.
