Anyone used the wireless HEX-NET VCDS?

Looking for some real world feedback if anyone owns the wifi HEX-NET. I'd like to be able to use VCDS without a windows PC (or on a phone/tablet), but there is a pretty big price jump from $200 to $450.

I have HEX-NET Pro (unlimited VIN version). The wifi works great, and it also can be used wired.

However, be aware that not all functions are available using the wireless VCDS mobile, and it requires internet access. So keep those things in mind when deciding what you need.

It connects to your computer using wifi from what I understand
Which means your internet connection will not work when using your VCDS.

It works in infrastructure mode too.

    "WiFi Requirements:
To use the HEX-NET wirelessly, it needs to communicate via 802.11 b/g at 2.4 GHz. This means that for Access Point mode, the client device with the web browser (laptop computer, tablet, etc.) needs to support 802.11 b/g at 2.4 GHz. To use the HEX-NET in Infrastructure mode, both the client device and the router that is connected to the Internet need to support 802.11 b/g at 2.4 GHz. Specifically, 5 GHz WiFi is not supported nor are channels 12 and 13 supported."

Thanks for that feedback! Being unable to access full functionality without a PC is a bit of a downer, so I'm going to stick with the "regular" wired only version.
