Unable to reset Inspection with OBDeleven

I bought an OBDeleven to reset the inspection interval since you can only reset the oil change interval through the car. It's annoying that I get the "Inspection Due" beep every time I turn the car off. Hooked up my shiny new OBDeleven...app...Inspection Reset....FAILED.

Found an article somewhere that they had installed some type of software protection on the 2020+ Audi's....found several youtube videos...but they were on models prior to 2020

Anyone been able to reset the Inspection due on a 2020+ RS3? If so...what am I missing...being new to obdeleven...it's a little overwhelming with all the features.

I had the same issue on my 2020 RS3. Basically none of the functions worked for me on OBD11. Went VCDS, no problem resetting.

I had a similar issue with my 2019. Reached out to support and they suggested to ensure the hood was open, and parking brake engaged. Tried again and it worked. Hoping you have the same luck!

I reset mine 2019 TTRS, make sure your hood is open and up before you connect BT

That was the issue. I didn't see any "documentation" that said you needed the hood open to do these things.

Since the app asks you to put in your make/model...I wonder why it doesn't say "Oh...you might want to make sure the hood is open before you do anything". I'm assuming not all cars need the hood open.

18's and below didnt require it, I made the same mistake until I saw a tuning post about flashing. But otherwise ODB11 has been great, was able to do all the IROZ mods and everything

Yeah...that's my 'issue' with it...not much detail. The "instructions" are basically. Download the app...hook this up...do things.
