Audi Engine Water Pump Settlement Reimbursement Claim Form

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Anyone else get one of these? Has a whole list of cars on the back for MY 2015 - 2020 for what seems like every Audi model.

I figured it was only a matter of time before a class action came out of these water pumps.

Mine failed at 8k miles. Audi denied my warranty claim but APR Plus picked it up.

I would imagine that’s for all the 2.0T motors since the 2.5 is a different design and different supplier.

like i said, every audi model i can think of is listed on the back, including vehicles not offered with a 2.0T. A7 and Q7 are two i am sure of that fit that, and i think the A6 too.

okay this is dumb but you might be right. on the back there is verbiage about 1.8 and 2.0 engines. why they listed cars that never had that option is beyond me.

According to records, you are a current or past owner or lessee of a certain specific Audi 1.8L or 2.0L engine vehicle of the
following models/model years, that was imported and distributed by Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. ("VWGOA") in
the United States or Puerto Rico (hereinafter, collectively,
    "Settlement Class Vehicles"):
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi A3*
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi A4*
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi A4 Allroad*
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi A5*
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi A6*
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi A7*
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi Q3*
    Certain MY2015-2021 Audi 05*
    Certain MY2015-2020 Audi TT*
    Certain MY2017-2020 Audi Q7*
"Not every such model and model year vehicle is covered by this Settlement (i.e., a Settlement Class Vehicle). The specific
Settlement Class Vehicles are determined by Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs). You can look up whether your vehicle
is a Settlement Class Vehicle by typing your vehicle's VIN where indicated in the VIN Lookup Portal on the Settlement
    website, www.waterpumpsettlement.com.

I received one for my S3 but not my RS3. Replaced it at 40k but have extended warranty. Long overdue settlement for sure.

i should have read the entire letter, including the fine print on the back. i believe this is only for 2.0 engines. there is a VIN lookup and my RS3 is not part of the settlement.

How did you get the letter if the car isnt in the list?

Also the 2.5t water pumps seem to fail pretty commonly as well

It's funny how I always felt the earlier 2.0T (think CAEB) water pumps were prone to failure; dying around 70,000 like clockwork...Then the newer gen came out and seeing them fail all the time, just out of warranty. In typical Audi fashion, they took a setup that was already needlessly over engineered, and made it worse. The first couple I did replace, the new assemblies(with T-stat) leaked right out of the box from Audi.

i have owned a 2.0 audi and VW. my VW friends got the same letter but for VW 1.8 and 2.0 models.

i saw audi, waterpump, class action and my brain immediately jumped to my RS3 since mine and many others here have failed. i also assumed they were the same water pump used in the 2.0.

is the water pump in our 2.5 shared with any other model? if not, we may never seen one of these for our cars since there are so few of us compared to other verhicles. my assumption is class actions typical want large numbers.
