    2007 Audi RS4 in Avus Silver / VERY low-miles (37k) / Showroom condition

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hi Everyone – For sale is my exceptionally high-quality example of the 2007 Audi RS4 with 37,865 original miles. The exterior color is Avus Silver (Pearl Effect) and features a black Silk Nappa leather interior with carbon fiber trim. The vehicle is also equipped with the optional Premium Package.

I am asking $78,749. Approximately 100 additional photos and a longer written description of the vehicle are available through my Autotrader Classics listing (Click here).

In short, the vehicle is a collector quality example in my opinion – the paint is in flawless condition, while the interior shows virtually no signs of wear compared to new. The vehicle is also entirely factory stock with the exception of an AWE exhaust and Kenwood headunit. All maintenance is up-to-date and a service that included a brake-job and oil change was completed 40 miles ago.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to contact me via DM or through the dedicated-email for questions about the vehicle ([email protected]). Thanks!

A couple final quick notes, the Autotrader listing states that the vehicle is located in Delaware, but it is actually garaged in Lower Merion Township, PA – Local inspections and purchase are welcome, but I can also facilitate/coordinate professional transport as needed (at the paid cost of the future owner.) In addition, I will not be posting the VIN at this time for legitimate privacy reasons; however, I am more than happy to share the VIN with those who have serious interest (and can also provide a copy of the accident-free CarFax).

Good price but you you will have to put the OEM exhaust and headunit back in. They are a big distraction. Nobody wants an S4 exhaust on their RS4.

Thanks. I just wanted to clear up any confusion, my RS4 is equipped with an AWE Tuning performance exhaust system that is specific to the RS4 model (see link) – it is not an S4 exhaust system (see link). The AWE Tuning exhaust on my RS4 features four polished exhaust tips, whereas the OEM RS4 system has two oval exhaust tips (emblematic of many, but not all RS-models); however, you would be correct in astutely noting that the OEM exhaust of the B7 S4 also featured the same number of exhaust tips (4). I personally think the fit, finish and style of the AWE exhaust is great, but the exhaust note is why I love the system, so I dug through my phone to find a video to upload for everyone’s benefit (below).

Regarding the headunit, I have made a correction to the description to reflect that it is a Kenwood (Excelon DDX9904S), not an Alpine as I initially misstated – it is integrated with the RS4’s multifunction steering wheel and provides key benefits including touch screen functionality, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto phone integration, and Bluetooth connectivity, which were not available features of the antiquated Audi RNS-E.

To describing the exhaust and headunit as “a big distraction” is a little disparaging given the quality of the upgrades and the overall quality of my RS4; however, if you’d like to purchase the vehicle, I am more than happy to have the OEM parts re-installed before you take delivery.

For sure the two upgrades are quality. I was more referencing a collector, they are not wanted. The AWE exhaust makes the car look like an S4 with qual tailpipes. If you have the OEM exhaust and head unit, I would mention that. People like the option to go back to stock. Beauty of a car and hope it sell quickly.

When I first saw your ad, I thought the price was a typo, but I guess you're serious. If so, more power to you as getting that price might set the market and raise the value of mine. For reference, I sold a pristine Misano with btw 20 and 25k miles on it and Milltek exhaust for $37,500 a few years ago, if I recall correctly. I know RS4s have appreciated, but getting in excess of MSRP on a 15 y/o car would be a huge win. You might consider trying to sell on BaT and setting a really high reserve. I've some RS4s go for really big dollars on that site.

I think a lot has changed in the sports car market over the past few years, with BaT being a large factor. There are plenty of examples of 15+ year old vehicles selling for more than MSRP and right now there's even more examples of new cars selling for more than MSRP. I obviously realize I could auction the car, but I am in the fortunate position that I don't need to move hastily to sell it, or at all. I think the quality of the RS4s, even among the low-mile examples, vary quite greatly as well.

Regardless, the vehicle didn't meet the reserve, which tells me that despite those things, the seller still expected more than $57,000.

To the extent it would even be possible, my car is priced as an estimate of what it would cost me to replace it based on condition and mileage.

Isn't the OP is entitled to ask whatever price they want for their car? The market will determine the true value. We live in interesting times...

Yes – I'm entitled to ask whatever I want and, similarly, people are entitled to offer whatever they want. Okular is probably just upset about inflation or whatever. We all know he's not going to make me an offer and he's just trolling. From his history of posts, it actually looks like he finally found an RS4 after quite a long time, but now he's doing a suspension replacement. I'll remind everyone my vehicle has the stock OEM DRC and it's in great working condition.

Nice car! Price might be a bit high. 60k seems closer to what its actually worth.....but its getting harder to find nice lower miles examples. None of those greedy auto trader ads posted above will ever sell. For the money a gated V8 R8 would be my choice since they can be had for around the same price with similar miles and the driving experience is just on another level.

Some of the Autotrader ads have actually moved, but obviously not the ones I posted, which is understandable (see backseat of Smith VW example vs mine). On the gated R8, I would consider trades for one of those.

Here's a good case and point using everyone's favorite website: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...wagen-r32-114/

Keep in in mind there were ~5,000 VW R32s delivered to the U.S. market, which makes the RS4 ~2.5x more rare. The example of the R32 above had the same mileage as my vehicle and sold for ~$20k in excess of MSRP (or ~55% in excess of MSRP).

Not sure what part made you question if you're hallucinating. I'll consider trades for a gated R8, as well as a TT RS (manual only)...and possibly a unicorn condition RS6 with a manual swap, if one exists. Obviously, an agreed-upon cash adjustment would be in the mix unless its agreed at the time that market values are equal.

For sure and likewise. Don't worry, I saw your vehicle and was laughing at some of the comments. But in any event, I didn't expect the comments from the tire kickers to be any different with my vehicle. I will say there is a noticeable difference between the commentary here versus Rennlist.

On your post, one member did a good job explaining precedent/comparable transactions, as well as the vast quality differences among the examples of the RS4.

If you're serious about selling, list it on BAT. But there have only been three sell above $50k so if you actually want to move it, keep that in mind. GL

There is usually a BAT tax that inflates the prices as well. People can ask what they want, tho.

I feel like no logical person would ever list their car for what they want to get for it. Everyone wants a deal or to haggle/low ball so why start at the bottom of someone's range? Start high, and any REAL buyer is going to message the seller privately and see if they can work out a deal that is a satisfactory value to both individuals. Everyone else will just give the seller free bumps :)

OR you list what you will sell it for and put that you are firm

you hold the price and thats it. Ive personally sold over 20 cars and been involved with countless others.

picking some absurd over price just makes people who actually have money move on

Woah over 20 cars? Man I've only sold 16 and every single one people ask if you'd take under what you list it for regardless of "firm". Shit you can say no trades and people will STILL ask if you'd take a trade.

I always list 10-20% over what I expect things to sell for. And I always get real buyers trying to negotiate in PMs versus in FS threads.

And at the end of the day if he wants $80k, he has every right to ask it and wait till someone pays it. If that wasn't true, no dealer would ever sell a car with an absurd markup.

you know what you do to speds who offer trades or try to lowball, you ignore them. its that simple.

id rather not respond to 50 people than scare off 1 actual buyer with a stupid price that no one will ever pay
