    2016 A7 Rough Suspension Seeking Tips/Solution

Hello all as I said this is a 2016 A7 Prestige with OEM suspension parts and from the quick test I had a guy do he noticed the front has way less up and down support than the back does and said it's common with the extra weight in the front from the engine and transmission to have those shock absorbers wear out first. I don't do fast driving or racing and only care about comfort or a soft ride. What would you guys who know your stuff recommend me replace the oem shock absorbers to, what brand/model specifically? He said he thinks I should keep the spring and only replace the absorbers in the front but I know a lot of you here are probably more knowledgably than he is.

Whatever you settle on, I would recommend buying from FCP Euro. They have a lifetime warranty on pretty much everything they sell. So if you ever need to do it again, the parts are covered.

FCP sells Genuine Audi, OE, aftermarket and performance depending on what you decide.

I would stick with OEM, that will almost always give the best ride. Also tires make a huge difference. Generally a high quality touring type tire when as much sidewall as you can manage will give the best ride. I swapped out my 19s for 18s and it was a noticeable improvement.

    I would agree.
Having been down the aftermarket suspension route with BMWs, I think best bet is new OEM stuff.

Check tire pressures. Owners manual lists like 38 and 40 psi, not sure which is front or back. Many say that is max PSI full load in the car. Try airing down to 32-35 PSI
