For those that have wanted to delete their headlight washer system, please visit https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5400104 for a 3D printable version of a headlight washer delete kit. Installation instructions can be found at that sight as well. If you don't have a 3D printer, you can download the files and upload them to a 3D printing service like https://www.xometry.com/

I am working on the washer reservoir plug. The file will be updated soon after prototyping is completed.

    Install instructions:
    1- Remove front bumper
2- Disconnect hoses from washer valves
3- Pry headlight washer cover away from bumper using soft plastic wedge
4- Remove washer cover from washer valve
5- Remove washer valve from bumper (T20 bit)
6- Install LH/RH Pin to washer cover, slide washer cover into support.
    7- Install LH/RH Cover to washer cover support. Use (2) #6 x 1/2" screws.
8- Mount washer support to bumper using mounts, reuse T20 screws.
9- Disconnect washer motor connector. Remove headlight washer motor from reservoir.
10- Install reservoir plug (future upload)

So what does this do exactly, just hold the covers in? I'm currently redoing an s-line bumper, that had headlight washers. Bumoer needs bodywork and paint, so I was just gonna glue in place, and smooth over them. But guess this is more for people that just wanna remove the inner workings, and leave the covers as normal?

In all honesty, I would prefer to do the same as your about to do. In my case, my bumper is good condition so I just needed a way to hold the cover to the bumper. You could also just use the same washer valves to do the same trick.

Thinking down the line, if the vehicle is sold, the new owner can keep the delete or reinstall the system.

Yeah, good idea if everything is in good shape, and reversable.

for those reading this , the 8.5 facelift car has the hinge and door attached to the actual bumper and the washer sits behind it independently.
