Need help with my comfort module!!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hello all, It's my first thread. I can not find any similar info for my situation so I will try to ask here. Try to tell my situation from begining. I just lost my only one key fob, got replaced lock cylinder and got 2 keys with it. Fit it in place, changed transponders in both key fobs and successfully programed immo with VCDS. But now I faced with another problem. I wasn't able to program central locking by key fob, so decided to change comfort/convenience module. From 8E0959433AJ to 8E0959433AS. Successfully programed central lock by key fob, but both the rear doors won't lock now. I have mechanic rear window regulators. Audi a4 b6. Can someone help me? Also Adaptation in channel 61 variants reduction, when i try to test value 1 (+1 rear mechanical window regulators(PR-4R5) installed) it hold that value, but when I try to save it and after that read the channel 61 again to check if it's saved, it show's 0 again.

I would assume its coded differently. I would put back the original comfort module and adapt key fob using channel 21. But first erase all keys. Then adapt remotes.

Thank you for answer! i was trying to adapt key using channel 21 with the original comfort module many times, no luck. Also of course firstly reseting all remotes by channel 00. I will try to check if original one still sits in garage and put it back in place or try to check the wiring. but it looks like it's firmware communication error between something, couse now these rear door control module for both sides apear an error in faults. and it's understandible, couse there are mechanical window regulators in rear dors and there is no modules inside. but i am thinking could it couse that letter in the end of comfort control module number? originaly was AJ and now fitterd with AS

I would try to recode the module for mechanical rear window regulators. I know in USA 2002 model year a4 had a different comfort control module part number and keys so 2002 module would not work with 2003 and up model year a4 nor would the remotes.

Ok I think for wind up mechanical window there is an adaption channel. Check under adaption. It might be listed.

That is strange. I would assume perhaps the module is not compatible or corrupted??
