PR Code Location?? Where to get one?

Are the PR code stickers in the 2014 S6's in a strange place?

I have looked in the spare tire well, under the side trunk panels, in the glove box and in what remains of the owners manual literature... it ain't there!!!

Are they hidden in some weird place? I have never seen a car where there wasn't even some remnant of the sticker in the trunk much less in the manual, but you learn something new everyday!!

Is this something a dealer has been known to be willing to provide?

That's a Monroney Sticker... I'm looking for the actual build PR codes... like this...

My A6 is missing that sticker too, and I have asked and gotten non-answers from Audi about being able to get a copy. Not in my manual either.

Like cleanly removed! I've never seen one so professionally disappeared!!! I've had them scratched... rubbed... faded... and water logged, but never just GONE!!

Found something that stated the 6 Line had them under the rear seats... so I'll have to wait and confirm this when I get home, but I am not holding out hope. I've never had one anywhere but the trunk!

If you pay $35 for a one-day access to erWin, among other things you may enter your VIN and download "vehicle specific information" including more PR numbers than you can shake a stick at. The list for my car shows 183 codes, including all the codes on the sticker in the trunk. I have no idea if a dealer would print this out for free but I assume dealers have access to this information.

OK... erWin shows you all the options that COULD be on your car, but does it actually tell you the options actually ON you car? Are they highlighted? Separated? Asterisked?

I can get a list of the possible Audi PR codes from a dozen places on the web... but getting the ones that were specifically built INTO my S6 is the desired outcome.

Just looking to not waste the time and $$ to get a list of generic codes.

Not sure about anyone else, but the print sheet I got from erwin sure seems to be vehicle specific.... There are several handfuls of items that make this obvious, such as wheel dimensions, only lists one and there are certainly more than one available... engine, again only lists one but several were available... the list goes on

Agree. I think Audisthesia is referring to the master list of all possible PR codes, also available. 2k16A6 and I are referring to a list of vehicle specific PR codes. To obtain my list I had to enter my VIN number. The result was a document with the heading "Vehicle-specific information". I imagine there are so many codes for me (183) as not all relate to specific options on the car. For example, there are separate codes for "US Standard Equipment", "Legal requirements for USA", and "With special plates/labels/ safety certificates for USA".

I should also add that my car has the PR sticker in the trunk as well. All the codes on the trunk sticker are also on the erWin printout; the erWin printout has additional codes.

Well... AoA helped out a bit here and I got a full list of PRs for the car build. It's a bit of a puzzle with the "with" and "without" all included, but I should be able to figure it out.

One nice bonus was that she gave me the run down of the 2014 MY for S6s. In 2014, there were 1308 S6 Sedans with the S-Tronic produced. So, I would presume that would be worldwide since she said produced. Pretty cool!

Out of those 1308, 139 of those had Estoril Blue Crystal Effect paint.. and of those only 27 had a black interior. Even cooler!!

That's pretty cool! 1 of 27. I've always had unique cars, but generally only to me... never in the world context!

I love my S6 a little more this afternoon!
