2015 Audi A3 2.0T - MMI update/Apple Carplay integration help, any useful mods advice

Hi all

I just purchased a used 2015 A3 2.0T for my 15 year old as her first car.

Where can I purchase the MMI firmware update for this model year beside not paying the dealer big bucks (Might also update the MMI and Maps update for my 2018 S6 while I'm buying this for the A3).

Also needed some recommendations for Apple CarPlay integration retrofit.

Any useful mods suggested for this car? APR stage 1 tune is on the list for times when I take it out myself, but anything else that's a big win?

You can find the MMI firmware files and map update files on:

Mibsolution.one

I would research how to do all the various procedures before you do anything.
I updated my MMI and Virtual Cockpit using those files. The VAG community is a very good one with many resources.

I know for a fact if you are upgrading from 2015 to 2022 maps you will need a custom patch.
