Denver Local Tire Shop or Tire Rack Mobile Installer

Looking for a local tire installer reference for the Denver area. I picked up some new wheels from Mops@Nemesis to replace a set I lost in the Marshall, CO wildfire and thought I'd ask around for a recommended local tire shop before I put in an order with Tire Rack.

Any local tire shop recommendations? Tire Rack Mobile installer experience good/bad?

I’m in Louisville CO and had terrible experience(s) with Tire Tack Mobile. They must have came 4 different times to get my install correct…everything from breaking my tire stem-and I had to order it from the manufacturer- they had to replace one of my tires that got ruined -the installer decided to put black balance magnets on my silver rims without asking my preference, and then he left some paper in between my rim and tire that was causing a slow leak…I would never use them again

    ^ Interesting.
I also got some tires from MOPS, great guy.

I found a company called: tread connection They come to your house and do a mobile install. It sounds great in theory but honestly it was a bad experience. Long story short, during the install the ends of each spoke got rubbed down. As the tire was sliding over the rim of the spoke it peeled off paint on about 30% of the spokes. So if there were 10 spokes on each wheel about 3 of them were damaged on all 4 wheels. There was lots of back and forth between the installer and wheel manufacturer each blaming one another. I'm not here to point fingers but I've since had a tire replaced at Audi Flatirons (long story there too) and they were able to take the tire off and install a new one without any damage. I believe that the fault was with the installer. I'd be very hesitant to use them again.

I had mine done at Bluewater. They were awesome and even managed to cut out my old rings on my BBSs and to swap sizes without damaging the powdercoat.

Just wanted to bump this. Picked up new rims (also from Nemesis) for my rsq8 and tires from tirerack. Not sure how excited most tire shops will be to mount/balance stuff I bought elsewhere.

Never had an issue with a shop mounting/balancing tires I bought elsewhere. I typically use Discount or Big O Tires in COS. Since I've had many cars at the same time, I did build a relationship with both shops. They usually recognized me when I walked in the door.

I had SJ Tire Company tackle a set of refinished BBS CV's for my MINI and they did a great job.
