    Audi vs Tesla upgrade?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I currently own an 2013 Audi S7 stage 1 and an 2016 Tesla p90d non Ludacris mode, the Audi best Time I can get 0 to 60 is 4 sec flat due to I lost my launch control from tune, Tesla I can get best is 3.3 sec from insane + mode.tesla drive really different than Audi, more torque down low.

I.m looking to upgrade to an faster car, there is an nice colour 2015 rs7 which goes to auction this weekend, it be fit my budget + mod, with a tune I think I can get under 3 sec for 0 - 60 time?

Or my other choice is upgrade to an model s p100d, which cost almost twice as the Audi now, used Tesla price goes up crazy.

If I get the rs7 , I have to end up sell my s7, which it's faulty free now, I already repaired everything, including a new transmission.

I test drive the stock rs7 today, maybe the owner did not let me flat the pedal, I did not feel a night and day diffece with the stages 1 s7, maybe cause still stock, I actually feel the s7 have a softer ride even they both have same air suspension.

upgrade to the rs7 or Tesla? Which be a better choice

Since you're paying, get the Plaid and dump that POS. Buy piles of Tesla stock at the same time to offset your losses as your car ages. Et voila!

I own RS7 Performance and Plaid. Fit & finish of Audi > Tesla on every model. I find the older Model S cars (2020 and older) are not the best of interior. Look nice but feels cheap. I find the 2021 Plaid is definitely a great interior in terms of tech and materials and comparable to my C7.5 RS7 in materials and blows it away in tech. I barely drive my RS7 and drive Plaid most of the time. I like the RS7 but Plaid ruined it for me and only keep RS7 as it's wife's car these days. If you're using "mommy & daddy" money as someone else said do neither. Learn to make your own money and then you don't have to sit there and contemplate when you can just have whatever you want.

If you're looking for a car that can give you that lightning-fast acceleration, then the RS7 with some mods might be a great choice for you. But if you're all about that instant torque and eco-friendliness, the Tesla might be more your style. 🔋
One thing to consider is the long-term cost. The Tesla Model S P100D might be pricier upfront, but the cost of maintenance and charging can be much lower than with the gas-guzzling RS7. Plus, with a used Tesla, you could always add some sweet tesla model 3 accessories to make it truly your own! But at the end of the day, it's all about what you're looking for in a car.

This thread has some silly posts, but it's a valid premise so I'm going to respond.

    I have a stock C7 RS7, a Stage 2 C7 A7 and have driven a Model S P100D (predecessor to Plaid) a number of times.

If you are looking for around-town 0-30 acceleration like between stoplights, nothing will touch the Tesla. It's a quiet rocket.

A stock RS7 will disappoint you there. However, my tuned A7 provides much of that same neck-snapping "jerk" - a hard launch will peel my passenger floor mat off the floor. So I assume there are some throttle mapping mods that can give an RS7 a bit more of that razor sharp response that Tesla has.

I do enjoy the Plaid, but it's in a whole different price category than the others. Nice tuned A7 - 30K. Nice RS7 - 60K. Plaid - 130K.

For me, I'm going to keep my RS7 and have a Rivian coming this year and both cost less combined than a Plaid.

    "eco-friendliness" is subjective.........

I endorse your trade-in. I think you would fit in perfectly in the Tesla crowd. This trade is in everyone's best interest.

3.3 0-60 can easily be beaten by a modified S7. just saying.. consider that. and the tesla you cant really mod to be any better than that.

if its a plaid then I say full send. but otherwise I would keep the S7

Teslas are dope though, but they dont have the soul that german muscle cars have

also one thing ive learned by being on the internet since a kid... Anyone that screenshots their income/balance, are trying to deceive...

When my last parent died, they were -$40,000 in their credit, does that count for anything? (Honestly, had I known, I would have forced them to take money).
