    Good Morning Everyone

I've been seeing a lot of back and forth posts in FB groups about whos tuning is the best and why the other ones suck.

Just curious from the group who has good and bad experiences with tuning and which companies.

I'm not sure what your criteria is but here is how I rate them. Being able to tune from home and having a E40 file was why switched from APR to 034. Now I'm finding use for the test pipe file that they offer.

1.034motorsport. Good experience. Currently use them. The email customer service system they have is not the greatest.

    2. I.E. Very similar to 034. I believe you can still call them as well.

    3. APR. Good experience. They don't offer a bunch of features like the top 2 and for the time I used them I had zero reasons to contact them for customer service.

4.EPL. Their tune for this engine is very conservative. If that is part of your criteria then consider them.

I went with GIAC ECU and TCU on my 2014 S4 because my Tuner recommended and I did not have a lot of Audi experience. I originally had Stage 2 now I am Stage 2+. I would probably not do GIAC again. It was okay but for the money I thought it should have been better. On my 2018 RS5, I have a custom Stertman ECU and TCU Tune and I am very happy. Stage 3 with upgraded turbos and it runs great:)

As far as tunes go, I have only used 034 Motorsports ECU and TCU tune so I can only comment on their tuning. For stage 1 at the drag strip I ran 12.48 @ 110 MPH as my best time. I now run Stage 2+ on 91 and it absolutely rips but haven't been able to race it at the drag strip yet. I would say as far as tuning goes you can't go wrong with 034. It is really nice to be able to plug my computer into my car at home, run their software, and tune my car in my driveway which is super convenient. Their customer service is pretty good and they have for the most part taken care of me whenever I had questions or needed to have something replaced. The only thing I don't like about 034 is that everything has to go thru email instead of being able to talk to someone over the phone. I would also say from what I've read and hear online that Integrated Engineering is right alongside with 034 in terms of performance and daily drivability. Hope this helps!
