Yes, I'm safe. I hope that this war will end soon.
What Bosch TB 82mm number do you use?

Glad to hear you're safe. We're seeing horrific footage of the war their on a daily basis and we too long for a peaceful end to the hostilities.

Meanwhile, my 2011 S4 is completely stock, so it's the OEM TB with the restrictive 70mm throat (some say 73mm).

I know that this thread is old, but I wanted to put this info here for anyone who may come across it. You do not need to re-pin anything to use the Bosch TB on the 3.0T! You will require a special harness that matches the signals (since Conti/VDO uses a different signal than Bosch). If you plug in/re-pin/etc the throttle will still not work. Buy the plug-and-play harness and you will not need to modify anything!

When it comes to picking a tune offered, will select for example 034 vdo throttle body file or a stock throttle body file?

For Bosch, select stock a throttle body tune. Jackal is also offering tunes for the Bosch kit we sell but you’ll have to message Tony to provide you one.
