Just came back from Germany, after shooting the brand new 2023 Audi A6 Avant E-Tron Concept.
Showcasing the next C9 generation of the A/S/RS6. IMO, it's one of the most beautiful cars I've ever had in front of my lens. Enjoy the video and photos.

I need to start with the statement that I AM a Audi fan and maybe at 76 I am somewhat set in my tastes. I have had 12 Audis since 1998 including: 1998 A6, 2001 allroad, 2002 A6, 2004 S4 Cab, 2006 A6, 2010 S5 Cab, 2011 S5 Cab, 2013 A6, 2018 S5 Cab, 2018 S5, 2020 A6 allroad, 2021 S5. And the 2020 A6 allroad may be the best of them all. However, this 2023 Audi A6 Avant E-Tron Concept is hideous. What I see is the long hood of a circa 1969 Jaguar XKE and the rear sloping roof of a 2007 Dodge Magnum. Also the "exhaust" cutouts in the back are a HUGE joke. Don't get me started on the "camera stalks" on either side rather than rear view mirrors (I like the idea of the rear view cameras, but incorporate them into actual mirrors). Also, don't particularly care for the big air scoops up front, looks a lot like the front of a Sprint Cup Toyota. Then again, maybe I'm just having a bad day....time will tell.
