Does anyone know if this is the part number for the caliper cover on the 2016 RS7? 8K0698221A

Does it seem to be discontinued?! WTF? the car is only 7 years old!? I broke one of mine doing my rear brakes yesterday, I'm looking to replace it, but can't seem to find if there are replacements?

    Yep, discontinued.
The platform itself is over 9 years old...and RS models are almost always consider exclusive and harder to find RS specific parts as they age. A7 parts should/will be available for a longer time.
Unfortunately check Ebay or other used resellers.

Not sure if that same style plate is shared with other models (S7?) but just get whatever you can find, paint in black if it isn't already, and get some RS stickers and then clear coat them.

Food for thought, if it's possible!

Can't believe they discontinued it so soon...

I have them on 4 of my curent Audi cars, they are a nice finishing touch. Don't have them on the Q7 because the Q has awsome rears...

that's insane, I thought they had to have parts for 10 years for cars.

Doesn't matter that the platform is 10 years, I thought there was a law that they had to keep parts for 10 years from date of manufacture?

It might be a US law that possibly doesn't apply to Audi. It also might be for major functional things, not aesthetics, and it might be for the main model A7, not exclusive low volume RS's. It is the final f you of the "RS tax".
Also maybe they could get a waiver saying "if we could get the parts we would make them available, but the way the world is now we cannot even get them."
