Feeler - Braum Racing Orue Racing Seats

I’m looking to gauge interest if I were to sell my current seats. Note that to install these, you would need to purchase your own brackets from Planted (part number SB098DR and SB098PA) in order to mount. They will come with the sliders. At this point I’d prefer not to ship. These sell for $899. I’d be looking for $600 for the pair. If you might have interest let me know and we can talk about details.

These are about 23 lbs, so more than 50% lighter than the stock seats.

Well, depends what part of Michigan. I'm about 30 minutes west of Milwaukee so if you were on the western Michigan-Indiana boarder, you'd probably be able to get here in 2.5 hours or so.

    *UPDATE*
Based on the interest I've gotten both from messages on here and from the Facebook Marketplace posting, I am going to be going forward with the sale. I expect to have these pulled from the car and ready for pickup by this coming weekend (3/5-3/6). So far, there has been a lot of interest shown and I've had 4 people indicate they would purchase when/if I went forward with the sale but as with any sale, money talks. If you have some interest, $600 takes the pair.

Can I ask why you’re selling?

I’ve been considering Braums for my B5 project and I’m curious what you thought of them or why you’re looking to part ways.

    Yeah, definitely!

These are really nice seats and I’ve been completely pleased with them, great quality, appearance and comfort. However my wife and I have been taking my car for trips more often lately and she’s more a fan of cloth. I don’t have a strong preference one way or another but I figured I’d change it up and try something different. Plus now that I’ve got the brackets and figured out all the seatbelt and airbag bypasses, swapping just the seats will be a quick and easy task and I can apply the money for these seats toward the new ones so my net cost is pretty low. I tend to like changing things up fairly often so this seemed to be an easy sell.

Can you elaborate on how you were able to bypass the safety Nannie’s? Also do those bracket lower the seat at all? (6’3” driver here)

Hey bud! I’m just installing my Braums in my Audi B8 A4 would love to understand how you dealt with the factory seat belts and the air bag sensors.
