    RS7 Dynamic Mode

    The press release for the RS7 said this:

    “The RS 7 sits 0.4 inches lower than the A7 when “auto”, “comfort” or “efficiency” modes are selected. At speeds above 75 mph or in “dynamic” mode, the air suspension lowers the body another 0.4 inches.”

    Does anyone have a pic of what the stock RS7 looks like in dynamic mode? Does it stay that way when turned off/on?

    Relatedly, I know that there is increased exhaust sound in dynamic, but if you turn the car off/on, do you have to reselect dynamic to get the increased sound?

    At least with the RS6 I believe the car will remain in either Comfort, Auto, or Dynamic depending on what mode was selected when the car was last turned off.

    you can see the ride hight in drive select screen (the bars at bottom right conner )
    when you are parked, you will feel the car lower or raise when you change drive mode.

    comfort -> 3 bars
    you can manually raise to top
    auto -> 3 bars

    dynamic -> 1 bar

    initial startup sound is idential i think, it will open the valve for like 1 sec then shut itself down,
    and depending on which drive mode you are in it will open again or stay closed

    if you turn off the car in RS1 or RS2, drive mode will reset to auto
    i think it's pretty annoying

    Car will start up in D regardless in which Drive Select mode you turn the car off. If you turn off in Dynamic, suspension, steering will remain in Dynamic but engine will be in Auto/D. You will either have to pull back on the gear selector to engage S or cycle through Drive Select out of Dynamic back to Dynamic.

    As mentioned, if left in RS1/2, everything will revert to Auto upon start up.

    Thanks, everyone. This is helpful as I wait for my car to arrive soon!
