Flat bottom steering wheel replacement

Looking to possibly replace my full round steering wheel with one of these off of Ebay:

Has anybody else done this?

Any issues with full functionality of controls/buttons?

Any issues with Airbag removal from old and install into new wheel?

Any idea of cost to have a shop do this in CA?

I'm new to the RS4 and would appreciate any help/advice...

I would never buy a refurbished steering wheel from poland anyway, look at the ones from germany and with the round airbag, these are Rs4, the one you found is something else, maybe s-line or S6.

Indeed, that are the cool ones, the one you had was probably a S-line steering wheel with rs4 badge.

You can upgrade to many different wheels. Commonly the euro wheels which is over rated imo. The B8.5 flat bottom wheels are much nicer

You're like the American equivalent of the person who doesn't realize that things aren't the same outside of your home country.

NA RS4s had round steering wheels, plain and simple. It wasn't replaced with anything, we just don't get cool things here in the USA.

Steering wheels are a hot item at my country, a lot of them are stolen 1 or 2 times, the flat bottom are the most difficult to keep in the car.

Im surprised they took the column shrouds and not the pedal covers... regardless its savage either way. That kind of stuff does not happen around here.

I've seen this in Portland. Its sad. Usually they put em on blocks and take the wheels too
