Ambient Lighting Upgrade to the Q/SQ5! It's a game changer!

My fellow SQ5/Q5 owners, have you every complained about the darkness of our car’s interior at night? Have you looked at newer cars and had interior ambient lighting envy? Well…I am guilty of this envy but came up with my own solution! I present to you, an ambient lighting upgrade to the interior!

Years back, I performed this project on my S3 and I am happy to say, it works great on the SQ5; will work on the Q5 as well. Red Oznium LED bulbs were installed in the door panels and gives my SQ5 interior such a modern, elegant upgrade at night. What do you guys think??? It’s an affordable and easy upgrade to perform.

Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you for sharing this DIY upgrade. I also have an SQ5 and have coded it for the foot well lights to come on but love the red lighting in the door panels as an added upgrade. Now I have another upgrade project to do :)

Looks like two different size bulbs. Which size did you end up using?
