ACC misaligned, tried self adjusting, need help.

Cruise control wouldn’t work, OBDELEVEN stated that sensor was misaligned at 1.43* of misalignment. I took a 3.5mm to the master sensor and made a small adjustment and when nothing changed, a small adjustment to the slave sensor to try to correct the misalignment and now car is throwing 18 various codes throughout the electronic systems (ACC, Central Electronics, both seatbelt pretensioners, parking assistance, gateway, and dashboard) also says auto start/stop is disabled. Should I take it to Audi to rectify?

Yeah you can't just realign yourself like that. They are not headlights.

They have special equipment and guides to properly align it.
Unfortunately it is likely mad expensive. Sorry

I just paid Audi $1000 to do this, it's robbery. They told me it was another $900 to replace the door latch otherwise the ACC keeps erroring out. I replaced the latch myself, cleared the codes, it still doesn't work...

If you are getting a bunch of new errors, they are probably all of the systems that one error is cascading down through and preventing them from working properly. It likely says something along the lines of function limited due to other faults.

Yikes, a $1,000 mistake waiting to happen in OBD.

What exactly do they do for that money? I know they have to cover overhead of speciality machines but jeesh.

in NO WAY am I saying this will work but since you have already messed with it. . . . .

Best case you get it right and save a lot of cash. Worst case is you still have to take it to the dealer. Just something I found with Google.

What Valpo A7 posted is correct.
It's a complicated process and needs a rig to do properly. See: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q5-...-help-2884003/ around post #9 and #11.

But the principle is the same? I imagine the expense is because the system is fussy, not because the process is difficult.

Update: every code throw was an intermittent code, same kind of deal when the battery dies and half of the CUs read low voltage threshold. I cleared them all except for the ACC, (those were static) and continued my week as normal and didn’t adjust anything else. Car didn’t show any signs of malfunction. Come Saturday evening, while driving down the highway, I notice I don’t have the fault icon in my dash, I try to use my ACC, and it miraculously works without fail! I was extra cautious when trying the adaptive part of it and covering the brake just in case, and it works as good as it did from the factory! I don’t know how this is possible, because it should only be more out of alignment, but I seemed to have fixed it.

Please DO NOT ask me for help with more issues with this, because I don’t know how I fixed it.

Let us know if it goes out again. Maybe it's on the borderline of alignment. Were you playing Elton John on the radio?

Ask around at local Indy shops. My local Audi Indy shop referred me to another shop with the proper gear to fully align and calibrate ACC, lane departure, braking assist, etc. Air shock height calibration, 4 wheel alignment, and calibration of all the sensors for $700.
