Anyone Done Kufatec Night Vision Retrofit?

Has anyone retrofitted night vision? I had a car on order spec’d exactly how I liked, but “settled” for a car in-stock with 99% of what I wanted. The only difference was my order was Daytona Gray instead of Nardo (wife is happy since she likes Nardo better), and my build had night vision. My mother’s Cayenne has the thermal/night vision camera and I really like it. I assume it is the exactly same system, both being VAG products.

Has anyone ever dealt with them before? Also. If you did the retrofit, how difficult was the job? Is a lift required?

I have. I know one other who has as well and another who is in the process of doing so.

Lift is not required but, but it's a fairly involved retrofit (depending on how much experience with disassembly and wiring). I did it myself and spent about 12 hours on it.
You will need a VAS cable and Sam (the guy who does the matrix coding) to set it up for you.

I've had a customer retrofit night vision in both an RS6 and RS7 C8 with the Kufatec packages. Both required some additional remote work with Kufatec to get it all finalized. With that said they did the finalizing work free so you wouldn't have to pay anyone else to do the final work.

Just purchased the kit from them…
They had to remote to my car to do the codings.
