    2.5 5cyl tfsi swap

Has anyone ever swapped one of the modern 2.5 TFSI (e.g. DAZA) engines into a longitudinal platform?

I saw a video on youtube of a b5 a4 but no details.

Clearly a heavy lift but do the bolt patterns line up with any of the longitudinal trans at least?

    Thanks!

It's a CEPA engine, but along the same lines.

Wow. Thanks Vinny. That's the one I think I saw. Seriously flying there! Pretty trick transmission by the looks of things :-)

Great, which engine are you looking to use?

Already own a 2007 rabbit. 2.5 will get a full rebuild and numerous fabricated items. My engine picker/hoist is rented out right now otherwise the 2.5 would be on my engine stand.
