    Air suspension retrofit

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Alright ive been steeping on this for a very long time and i need to get other peoples opinions on this…

Currently have the sport suspension package and its great, but i really really want an air suspension.

Should i pull the trigger? Is it really worth it? Should i get oem or go with an aftermarket system?

Also not sure if theres a thread regarding this, i didnt search before i posted this so if there is just link it here.

IMO I don't believe the OEM S7 system would be good on an A7.
If you could somehow get the OEM A7 air system from Europe to work that would be interesting, but I bet a huge undertaking.
I would think the aftermarket systems would be better suited and more well sorted then trying to figure out how to get the OEM system to work.

If you decide to switch over to air, I would also vote for aftermarket!

If you need struts, I have some that I never installed. You'd still need management, but this would at least cover the strut portion of what you'd need for aftermarket.

That's what I have. Message me if you're interested!

I thought OEM since there is an OEM system. All signs point to no though.

Trying to retrofit the OEM air system is going to be far more of a headache and cost you more money. The OEM system is more limited in terms of adjustability and expansion.

If you really want to add air, run the Airlift management with an aftermarket strut and call it a day. You'll have more options for replacement parts at a reasonable cost than when the OEM stuff needs to be replaced. And the OEM system is SLOW. Aftermarket is much quicker.
