What tire size for a 19x9.5 et +25 wheel (Superspeed RF05RR)?

I'm looking into buying these wheels: https://www.super-speed.ca/flowform-rf05rr

A whole set is around $1400 which is a good deal considering they're flow formed and actually come in lighter than other flow formed options like VMR, HRE, Forgestar. They also have knurled beads and promise big brake clearance. I acknowledge you could argue that they're close to being reps of the BBS CIR, but at $3,000 (+ heavier + cast), the BBS seem like a rip off just going off the hype of being the F1 wheel of choice. I'm also looking at a few other wheels like the Forgestar CF01 and HRE FF11, but those all come out to being heavier despite costing way more.

I was going to buy these in 19x9.5 et25 fitment, and I was wondering what tire size would be recommended? If it matters, I enjoy a chunkier tire/rim protection and I'm not a fan of a stretched look so I removed all narrower tire options, as well as all ultra-wide tire options.

According to tiresize.com, recommended fitment is:

    Size |Delta |Diameter| Width| Recommended wheel size
    275/30R19 -1.9% 25.5" 10.8" 19 x 9-10"
    285/30R19 -1.2% 25.7" 11.2" 19 x 9.5-10.5"
    255/35R19 Equal 26" 10.0" 19 x 8.5-10"
    265/35R19 +1.2% 26.3" 10.4" 19 x 9-10.5"

I'm definitely leaning towards the 265/35r19 tire size, because not only will they be a little wider, but the rolling diameter will be a tiny bit higher which in turn should provide a slightly taller sidewall and slightly more protection against philly roads.

Also, reviews of Superspeed wheels if this is your first exposure to them:

Also, if anybody has other suggestions for sub-$2,000-ish flow formed wheels or low weight cast wheels feel free to let me know. I just don't want to pay more money for a badge.

With that offset it’s essentially the stock wheel with a 10mm spacer. So you can run a 275/30,255/35, or a 265/30. 265/35 would be too beefy if you’re lowered

If I ran 255/35 wouldn't I be more likely to curb rash them?

Would be slight stretch. Tbh even if there was no stretch if you rub against a curb it’ll mark up the wheel

I've got 19x10 et25 running 265/35 and I'm good, Conti DWS', lowered on KW V3. 3mm spacers in the front

I went up one size in section width from stock because I discovered my speedo reads 5mph fast at all speeds, so now it's only about 3.5mph off, got a little more meat around the wheel as well.

I’m surprised you don’t rub with a 265/35 and that’s a pretty beefy tire. I ran a 265/35 on a 9.5 et 28 and it rubbed bad. Maybe the extra .5” of wheel width helped

Maybe it's the offset you ran? Most people have recommended running a 9.5 et25 with our platform it seems.

Currently on my stock 19x9 wheels I seem to be completely protected from curbs.
