RS6 Phone Mount options and mounting locations?

I had been struggling to find a good location where I can mount my phone. Anyone had any suggestions? Any pictures will be appreciated!

I’ve tried a couple options and ended up with the non-charging mount from Peak Design. They are primarily a photography accessories company but recently branched out into an ecosystem of phone cases and accessories. They make great stuff. Only issue is you have to use their case, but I like it.

I mounted it to the lower right of the top MMI screen.

Cup holder + wireless CarPlay?

I struggle to see a need for a phone mount with CarPlay as useful as it is and love not having to block a vent. I was jaded as previous mounts I used rarely kept phones secure when under heavy acceleration / spirited driving

I got the Scosche one that's magnetic. Comes with a metal plate to stick on your device.

That's an interesting option. Do you have to mount a magnet on your phone? Would it work with a phone case like the Speck Presidio2 Grip?

The magnet is on the holder side, you need to stick a metal plate on your phone or case. I dunno if new magsafe iphones make that unnecessary.

I don't love having extra doodads cluttering up the console but this is a tiny bit cleaner than a big mount/phone clamp.
