2016-2020 Audi A3 or S3

Every time I get rid of an Audi and say I'm done with the brand, something always brings me back. The wife says she wants an A3 or S3.

Used market is pretty crazy right now, but I figured I'd post here and see if anyone was toying with selling their car.

Looking for 2016-2020. Pretty open to everything, might even consider a FWD model.

Why settle if for a few more bucks you could go with a //S3?! I personally WOULDN’T settle for a A3 if I have the means to sustain a S3. I mean, come on, brother. Get your girl into a S3 and display her worth to you!

My wife wants a dsg tune, downpipe, and stage 2, so at that point there isn't much diff from an A3 to an S3.

About the only thing that an A3 is lacking from our standpoint is magride, and that's fine, she will take it to the track maybe 2-3 days a year.

Right now a new 2022 Mini Cooper S is going for $32k, so we will probably go that route as she only needs 2 doors. Thats what a 5 year old S3 seems to be selling in some places...

If I had kept my S3 that I sold in 2018, I could have sold it for more than I paid from the lease buyback.

Damn, got me there. Have no comeback. Either way you can’t go wrong. Wasn’t aware that your girl knew her stuff but since you did mention that stage 2, I’m assuming that she knows we what she’s getting into. Ooooor, go S3 and bump that thing and then you’ll really be feeling quite the gains. Tough choice from all angles either way.
