Steering wheel turning to the left but tires still straight?? Control Arms?

I just had this issue trying to leave for work and would appreciate any advice. I backed out of my driveway but as I continued straight up the road my steering wheel had a mind of it's own as if I was turning. I backed up, pulled back into the driveway and as I was heading to the garage it again turned to the left so I got out just to be sure and the tire is still straight.

I don't know if it's related but I've had loss of traction going around corners more in the last few months than ever before in my 16 years driving A4s. I don't recall the loss of traction, but this is similar to what my B5 did when the control arm broke, but in that case there was nothing I could do and obviously had to get towed. I was right around the same mileage at the time too, around 105 and I'm at 107 now.

Once one of my upper control arms started going out of the knuckle (the ball joint pin was not secured properly). If it's that noticeable, you should be able to easily spot the culprit by putting the car on stands and wiggling the wheels.
It could have a link with your traction, although I doubt you would still be able to drive it, I'd put my money on cold weather for that one.
The mileage you're at is typical for control arm bushings failures, so you might want to give them a particular attention
