I don't think your time is that bad, I think the biggest difference between stage 1 and stage 2 is seen more so in the 60 to 130 times, even more so than 1/4 mile.

This thread isn't meant to be a dick measuring contest to see who is fastest. The purpose is to benchmark how quick these cars are at different stages with different tunes. That way someone can check out the thread, see the spreadsheet, and determine where their car should be with the listed modifications.

The fact that these cars have LESS variables like you mentioned makes the database more valuable, as it takes driver error out of the equation. 60-130 is not impacted by launch variables or tires (until high power levels of course), so its a great benchmark.

the only data that dude might have is that keep your catalytic converter on. you want to guess what state in the US he lives? lol

but like DanMpower said i'd like to know what mode the car was in and how the 60-130 was performed. i'd like to know best way without actually doing it from a dead stop.

Your time is fine...it's almost exactly what I ran with the same mods and what the vast majority can expect. His time is an outlier but he also had outlier times on the B8 S4 forum as well with traps and times far better then anything else with the same mods...there is a trend.

Those definitely have a lot to do with it. If I'm going out to set a new personal record then I make sure I do it with the proper ingredients. But, I'm pretty sure "foul play or false results" were insinuated lol.

Wow, that's pretty aggressive pal. That S4 time must have really hurt your feelings back in the day. Are you familiar with the gentleman that runs/ran the B8 1/4 mile database @Loe ? He is a very well respected member of that community. He was at the track with me that day and on many other occasions. He is familiar with my car and can verify my results. Evan Doel is a very respected tuner and participant on that platform and others. He was at the track that day and on other occasions with me as well.

I have people that can attest to my RS3 performance as well.

There's really no need to be a keyboard warrior in here bud. I'm not full of anything but verifiable results with respected witnesses. So please take the hate elsewhere and let's get back on topic.

The wheels definitely helped, I saw a tenth improvement in the 60-130 when I switched to 2pc rotors (saved 7lbs per front corner) and another tenth when I went to the WedsSport wheels.

That's good to hear. I've been eyeballing them and I'm going to pick up a set in the spring. I'm seeing good results with them on other cars also so it's pretty consistent they help which is a bonus. I'll have to check out those rotors also...I wasn't tracking to any other options outside of girodisc.

Get yourself some Augment GS1R wheels (12lbs for 18” wheels) and AP Racing Discs (18lbs per disc) and you’ll have some great weight savings.
