Anyone tried out the RS7 spark plugs on a tuned (or untuned engine)? Part number - 06K 905 601M. Apparently they are better for tuned engines. I was just made aware of them today

Someone on a Reddit thread was telling me to put them in my 2.0t because it helps running Map 3 more efficiently with JB4. I have not done so, but just throwing that out there.

I'm assuming these are the ones you're mentioning: LFER7BHX

    are you tuned?

From what i can tell those seems to be good plugs as well. I might test out these and the NGK RS7 plugs

I'm running them on my Full Unitronic stage 2 setup, definiately seems to run smoother when pushing it to the limits (higher RPM's). And yes running a colder plug is better, when pushing more boost to keep combustion temps lower. also look up the gapping had to open mine a bit more

Combustion temps are the same. A spark sets off the fire. The plug is going run a little cooler, and can spark under harsher conditions better than stock. But really, stock is just fine on tuned cars.

Shorthand: A spark doesn't control the amount of fuel and air.
    2019 A4 B9 on B8's - H&R - JB4 - Cat sticker - Shaved and chamfered hubs for 10mm hubcentric spacers - Bunch of other stuff (sold)
    2018 Q5 B9 PP, no cat sticker.

ended up going with the ruthenium plugs gapped at .024, using them on a stage 1 IE tune. feels great so far
