RS5 (B8) Aftermarket and Performance Parts

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Actively looking to purchase upgrades/aftermarket modifications for my B8 RS5. If you have any B8 RS5 components which you are or would consider selling, please send me a PM. I'm interested in potentially purchasing some or all of the following:
    • Exhaust components (including downpipes)
    • Intake
    • Performance ECU
    • Headers
    • Supercharger
    • Cosmetic Mods (e.g. splitter, CF spoiler replacement)
    • Potentially wheels, but not a high priority
    • Anything else that fits an RS5 and you can convince me that I "need" it

    Thanks!

Bit too late! I sold mine and some stuff from it recently. Still waiting on a custom set of carbon interior trim though, lol.

I'm guessing that my probability for success is low with regard to finding a supercharger – definitely interested in a supercharger if someone has one for sale – though, I personally haven't heard of much about owners adding superchargers to their RS5s.

Regardless, I would add an integrated ("stealth") radar detector to the list of things I want to buy (e.g. K40).

Dude has one on eBay right now. It's not cheap and I think it's from this bad ass shop on the east coast that's apparently been able to get 1000 HP out of this damn car. I laughed and told him he was reaching but he filled me in on who they were and I had previously heard from this forum actually of this shop and these people. Setup looks dope.

Hope your not a baller on a budget

Baller on a budget, ha. Not sure how I'd characterize myself, but something to the effect of preferring to not pay ~$6k for a Capristro exhaust – for example – if I don't have to.

Not my cup of tea. In my mind, I had the idea that reasonably well-developed and reliability-tested supercharger applications (e.g. APR s/c kit) were still available off-the-shelf, but that does not seem to be the case. So unless there actually is a supercharger setup that could give me peace-of-mind that I won't spent more time at the mechanic than on the road, I would tell people to ignore that item from my list of WTBs.

I am still actively looking for anyone selling RS5 parts. Very interested in an exhaust, intake, and other performance related parts, but will look at anything you might have for sale. Thanks!

Subscribe to the A5/S5/RS5 classifieds as well as the A4/S4 as many parts are shared. The hard thing with RS5 parts is that there’s a small inventory of used parts. Usually you’ll have to find someone parting out for a sale. Join the RS5 page on Facebook, the B8.5 Marketplace group, etc.

Agreed on the small inventory of aftermarket RS5 parts, but seriously thank you for reminding me of Facebook. While I am a resident of “the blue bird insane asylum,” I completely stopped using FB many years ago and it totally slipped my mind. That being said, the last time I logged used FB was for a very similar situation in which someone else reminded me many people use FB marketplace for stuff like this.

For anyone AZ members reading this, my biggest priority is an exhaust (followed by intake), but will definitely consider almost anything which I feel would enhance the vehicle, so if you're considering parting out or changing the exhaust system of your RS5 in the reasonably near future, please don't hesitate to PM me and we can coordinate.

I had this thread bookmarked, any updates? What have you gotten and where'd you find it? thought you had a very solid list of mods and would like to see the progress.

Jhm is coming out with a supercharger kit soon. They are the arguably the top rs5 modification place and it will be bulletproof no doubt. If you go on YouTube I think there is a sneak peak/teaser or something with their development car. Prob won’t be cheap I’d figure 15-20k but most likely going to be even more then that.
