First off wondering if someone with a 2018 a3/s3 can post the coding to their steering colum (16).
I purchased a custom steering wheel with oem paddle shifters, I havent been able to find coding or anything online for this, they don't work and the left side doesnt light up anymore. I have seen pre facelift install with no issues/coding. Has anyone done this/ can it be done? Ive gone through all the wiring diagrams and see no difference between a tiptronic from factory. They should just plug and play.

They changed ECM’s on the facelift models and upgrading wheels is no longer plug and play. You need a dealer to code it in

I work at VW, I tried using ODIS just not sure what needs to be changed/coded, unfortunately some of the coding is blocked on there so I tried with OBD eleven but found nothing that supports paddle shifting

I had that problem when i retrofitted a FL Steeringwheel in my pFL,there are two different Indexes of the partnumber for the switches, one is for tiptronic the other isnt.I bought 8W0 951 523 F,Index E doesn't support tiptronic.
It's an Oldschool Hybrid, burns Gasoline and Rubber.

I just ordered that part number because the left side stopped lighting up, it’s weird because on the Audi website it says for vehicles w/o tiptronic, I’ll try out the buttons and see if it works
