Anyone activated this? Just sent the info in. Never had an EZ Pass because I didn’t want the sticker on the windshield.

I’ve been using it for a while in Florida with no issues. I had my windshield clear tinted for UV and didn’t want to put a SunPass sticker on it.

If I'm not mistaken, with the integrated toll module you pay the cash price for tolls. None of the discounts you might get with E-ZPass or SunPass, for example.

Depends on where you are. EZ Pass states you pay the cash price.

I have activated and used mine here in south jersey/eastern PA area. Works great! Love not having to stick an EZ Pass module on windshield.

I've used mine since day 1. It's one of my favorite features of my RS6, as I hate those stupid ugly EZ-Pass modules. Feels like it costs more in NY (haven't checked) but worth it for me.

Looks like the annual fee for a single zone is only $10 and all of US is $20. I don’t even use toll roads that often but still seems negligible vs sticking a transponder to windshield. Just FYI in case you weren’t aware of amount of fee.

    Thanks for that information!
I’m ok with the transponder. It’s mounted on the windshield behind the rear view mirror. It’s out of the way and I don’t even noticed it.

Nothing but great things to say about this service/feature. Once you sign up it’s set and forget. Well worth the subscription fee to not have to deal with transponders on your windshield. I’ve used up and down east coast. Never had even one issue.

Unfortunately it's not super useful in the DC area if you're ever driving with passengers, because so many roads here need the EZ Pass Flex functionality to get the tolls waived when you're HOV'ing.

I wondered if that was the purpose of the “number of occupants” question on the ITM screen in MMI.

Definitely a pain to have to go in and change that answer every time your passenger situation changes but it seems like it does allow for that input. Whether it actually gets communicated to tolling authority is another question I guess. Haven’t looked at the FAQs on the vendor site.

Oh interesting, the dealership here told me it wouldn't work. I'll do some research...

In MA you can get a license-plate mounted EZ-pass...no windshield clutter

Wish my car had this. 2019 A6, think it wasn't put in til later models. I have a SunPass Pro, it has Sun Pass and EZ Pass built in. Drove to Delaware last Thanksgiving, it didn't work on all but one toll. I was hit with multiple fines, tho was able to get them dropped by proving I had an active account. Next time I go up to Delaware will get an EZ Pass, I know they work.
