Gains on bigger throttle body?

Hello all. My car is dual pulley and tuned with 034. Considering getting their 85mm tb. Will i see any gains WITHOUT a ported blower? Wouldn't mind shelling out the money if i get some more throttle response and pick up minor hp.

You wouldn't see as much benefit, but depending on how heavily modded you are there would still potentially be some.

034 has had their TBs backordered forever though from what I gather.

We measured about a +7WHP gain on E40 Stage 2+ with our SüperDüper Throttle Body Kit. As stated above, gains are mostly seen when paired with a ported supercharger as it will better take advantage of the increased airflow. A lot of the power gained with a Throttle Body is going to be up top in the rev-range.

Should you get the SüperDüper Throttle Body before a ported blower? Definitely, so you can utilize the extra material we've left on the noodle allowing you to port-match it to the supercharger!

Out of the box with no modifications, yes it only supports their kit.

You can probably make it work with just about any existing intake with some level of modification
