Has anyone used their refurbished mechatronics? Any issues? Would love to hear some feedback on them, good or bad.

Looking at replacing mine and looks like Maktrans is the only place selling a refurbished one without sending mine in first or spending triple that on a new one from Audi.

300zx2g35, I was looking at the same one. Price is decent, get $200 back when you send your failed unit. IMHO, their rebuild process sounds impressive - nothing like buying rebuilt parts from eBay. A guy on Facebook sells rebuild kits with supposedly new parts for $950... Or do you source the individual parts separately? That's probably cheapest but most difficult.

I think without knowing anything about Maktrans I'd take them over a Ebay rebuild kit as there are a lot of Chinese reboxed parts on Ebay. Plus Maktrans say they check the bores which an Ebay kit will do nothing to solve a bore with too much wear.

Anything happen with u using maktrans? Good or bad? I’m getting upset as hell with them I ordered a part a week and a half ago and they keep dicking me around and telling me they will have a tracking number for me “today” and then 3 days go by and haven’t heard a word and haven’t sent the part so gotta get a refund so I can get my part somewhere else so I can stop waiting for maktransvestites to ship a gear to me
