    Power stop z17 pad?

I just brought those off eBay and install to my car, didn't realize they are different pad than the z23 z26 pad recommend on the post most of us use.

Is that a lower grade pad with worse performance than OEM or z23? Do I need swob them asap or just keep use it then change. I order the z26 pad from rockshop now, hopefully they perform better. I feel the z17 have less initial bite compare to OEM, does the z26 be perform better?

I have z26s and love them, no dust, no squel and great even pressure. Oem bites quick then gets softer where as the z26s are even and consistent through the range.

    Z17 are ok.
My oem braking is terrible. No feel, need to push hard just to get a reaction even at low speed.
This is after a full fluid change and bleed at the dealer. No change from before.
If you mash on it it stops very well, but there's no bite, no feel.
I like tight and responsive and firm brakes. Like my old BMWs, or Ducatis with nice brembos...
Still trying to figure out which way to go here.

Any codes? Weak master cylinder? Too much flex in brake hoses?

No codes. Nothing wrong with the car. Stock OEM dealer-installed brakes.
Feels the same after a full bleed and fresh fluid.
I think it's just the design of the car itself.

My pads have no bite and it just doesn't slow until I mash through 1/2" of travel on the pedal.

I'm thinking of ditching the car (2016 A6 3.0) and going for something more in tune with what I need out of driving feel.

I bought Z26 pads and right before I was ready to install them, I started having issues with my knee. I am having issues walking, let alone kneeling or anything. Bummed that the cold is coming and I won't have the new pads in before then
