Hey guys just wondering if anyone has used the blue driver odb2 scanner. I’m looking for one that can read live data etc. The problem i’m having is that i don’t know what normal sensor readings should be for example MAF and such. I thought i read that blue driver does that?

You talking about the cheap, $10 dongles ya get on eBay, etc? If so, I believe theyre just used with apps like torque pro, etc. Better off getting an Obdeleven pro or vcds, well worth the money.

OBDEleven or VCDS for anything more than basic scans.

I have a 15$ OBD bluetooth from amazon and Torque pro that does fine for on the go scanning, VCDS for everything else like logging and coding.

Ok, thats different than what I was thinking. So for that money, id buy Obdeleven pro. Or just spend the money, and get vcds. I have both. Obdeleven is nice on the go, I leave it in my car. Vcds for when I'm home.

bluedriver its the same cheap obd11 amazon scanner. He just overpaid it because other 10$ scanners wont give their own app. This is one of those instances when you dont know what you are doing, you just endup overpaying it.

Obd11 is about 50-60$ used on facebook market place or offerup. VCDS is 200$ on Europaparts but hard to carry a laptop or tablet tho. If you want every thing in one mobile size touch screen, Launch is one of the best tool out there with mobile size screen which has every single feature like vcds and dont have to bother about vins too. This is what techs are using now a days. Gone are the days of snapon

Apparently the blue driver is quite good it has a lot more features than the average dongles that are of similar price. I just wasn’t sure how it was for our vehicles.

Odb11 is a no go for me as it doesn’t have the charts and gauges for iOs. As of now i think i’ll have to wait to buy any good one period. Made lots of repairs recently which im about to make a post about lol.

This Launch thing sounds interesting though i’ll have to look into it.
